Again My Life Episode 1 Recap

Again My Life” is a new fantasy revenge drama about a talented prosecutor who gets a second chance at justice after failing to bring down a powerful individual. Lee Joon Gi stars as Kim Hee Woo, a passionate prosecutor who was unjustly killed while investigating a corrupt politician, but who unexpectedly gets a second chance at life.


Friday-Saturday drama ‘Again My Life’, which was first broadcast on the afternoon of the 8th, Kim Hee-woo (Lee Jun-gi), who started the second episode of his life, was drawn.

Kim Hee-woo, who was commissioned as a legend prosecutor, continued the investigation targeting the ‘living power’ Jo Tae-seop (Lee Kyung-young). He secured a witness and asked the prosecutor Kim Seok-hoon (Choi Kwang-il) for permission. However, Kim Seok-hoon said, “Belief is only valid when you can beat your opponent. Prepare well and take it out when you can win.” However, Kim Hee-woo did not give up.

Kim Hee-woo finally meets Jo Tae-seop in the investigation room. But Jo Tae-seop said, “Just because you want to have justice, you can’t have it. Justice covers people, What you are doing is a stroke solidly wrought by ignorance. To hit me, you had to break the system that was built to protect me.”

Kim Hee-woo, knowing that Jo Tae-seop was threatening the witnesses he had secured, hurriedly headed for it. However, he was overpowered by Dr. K (currently Woosung) and was killed, before killing him Dr.k tells him that he will be in a news tomorrow, that ‘a corrupt prosecutor under the influence of alcohol and drugs committed suicide.

Kim Hee-woo fell from the roof. The Grim Reaper (Cha Joo-young) summoned him. The Grim Reaper looked into Kim Hee-woo’s past and put hope in Kim Hee-woo, who did not lose justice even in an unfavorable situation. The Grim Reaper said, “If you survived this battle, would I be able to catch Jo Tae-seop? Will he be brought to justice? If you have one more life left, would you waste it again?” she asked. Kim Hee-woo vowed, “I risked my life there,” and if I got a second chance in his life I will make him pay. Then the Grim reaper promise to save his life in exchange for him to make sure he put Joo Tae-seop in jell.

The point where Kim Hee-woo came back to life was when he was working part-time after graduating from high school. Knowing that he was alive again, he said, “Then he must go home,” and he ran to the house where he lived. He remembered his last days with his parents and opened the door to the house, hoping that heaven had given him a chance he would never have again in his life. He wept as he hugged his mother Lee Mi-ok (Kim Hee-Jung) and his father, Kim Chan-Seong (Park Chul-min), who met again.

Kim Hee-woo said, “I can’t believe it, but I’m back. I thought that there was only law and justice, but I was a conceited person with a strong will. Hee-Woo made up his mind that his life should be different from his previous life. “You have to be stronger, more So that I can protect myself and my family,” he said, starting for the second time in his life.

Kim Hee-woo remembered the day his parents were hit and run and tried to stop it. Kim Hee-woo, who knew that the hit-and-run accident was poorly investigated during his time as a prosecutor, solved the question of the time of death due to a mechanical breakdown and protected his parents from hit-and-run vehicles. However, another vehicle hit them and they were in danger. 

Ratings

On April 8, the highly-anticipated drama finally aired its premiere. According to Nielsen Korea, the broadcast scored an average nationwide rating of 5.8 percent, making it the most-watched Friday-Saturday drama of the night.

“Again My Life” also took first place in its time slot across all channels among the key demographic of viewers ages 20 to 49, with whom it scored an average rating of 2.4 percent
