Hello, I’m Lee Yubi.
I’m writing because I want to share my thoughts on what made many people feel uncomfortable with this work. Please understand that the post was delayed because I tried to post it after the drama situation was settled.
This work was a work that I met when I had a lot of concerns. It was a time when I thought about what kind of role I should play in the future, what can I do, and I wanted to challenge new things and achieve them one by one.
I think I only wanted to express the character that I didn’t do before. I regret that I was ignorant of the distortion of history and didn’t think deeply about it.
From now on, I will try to become an actor with a broad perspective. I’m sorry again.

Meanwhile, actor Park Sung-hoon, who also apologized for the controversy over history distortion.

He wrote on his Instagram account on the 27th, “I feel a great sense of responsibility as an actor in ‘Joseon Exorcism ‘ by reading all the articles that many people scold and worry about this incident.”
He added, “I did not judge correctly about the boundaries between creation and distortion, even though I brought a sense of burden and caution in dealing with the real person through my work.” “I felt foolish and lacking in thinking that I just had to approach acting sincerely and do my best for the given character,” he said.

I’m actor Park Sung Hoon.
First of all, I feel a great sense of responsibility as a cast member of “Chosun Gumasa,” reading all the articles that many people have scolded and worried about.
Despite the fact that the work brought pressure and caution in dealing with the real person, it did not correctly judge the boundaries between creation and distortion. There was a foolish and insufficient thought that just acting as an actor should approach acting sincerely and do my best for a given character.
I’m ashamed that I realized my stupidity in this situation. This will sweeten the criticism. I’m belatedly realizing the seriousness of the issue and how important historical awareness and social responsibility are to the actors as well.
I am sad and sorry to give you concern. With this opportunity, I will be reborn as an actor who acts with a sense of responsibility in a cautious manner. Once again, I sincerely apologize. I’m sorry. Park Sung-hoon said, “I’m ashamed that I realized my stupidity only after this situation. This will sweeten the criticism. “We are belatedly realizing the seriousness of the issue and how important historical awareness and social responsibility is to the actors,” he said. “I am sad and sorry to have caused concern to many people. With this opportunity, I will be reborn as an actor who acts with a sense of responsibility in a cautious manner. Once again, I sincerely apologize. I’m sorry,” he apologized.

Meanwhile, The SBS’ Monday-Tuesday drama “Joseon Exorcism” has been bogged down in controversy over its distortion of history and Northeast China’s process since its first broadcast on the 22nd. Viewers demanded the nullification of the drama and protested, which was originally scheduled to be produced in 16 episodes but ended up with two episodes.
